When we started we knew were interested in the MEAT breeds but were not sure what breed
to start with. So, we started out with a few of the three "meat" types, Kiko, Boar, and Myotonic. But we have
since fallen for the Myotonic goat. You may noticed we have cut back on our commercial stock and have and continue to replace
these does with registered Myotonic goats. Check back with us to see our new stock as they come in periodically.
We belong to the following registries at this time.
Around our Farm
Below you will see pictures of our largest pasture area at this time. We will call this Pasture1. You will
see our shelters, and different angles of the paster.
| These shelters are closed in more in the winter. We always block the North and West winds. |
| A good winter picture |
| This shows how dry and well these shelters work. |
| Yes this was after the blizzard we had. |
| However, I wanted to give you some other ideas on what the pastures looked like and these were good. |
| This is up over the hill. |
| As you can see everyone has plenty of space. |
| This is a little less the mid way looking to the back of this pasture. |
| This is from the same spot looking to the front/feeding area of the pasture. |
| This is in the back of pasture 1. |
| Here king or queen of the hill is often played. As you see it is also good for those lazy days. |
| We have areas set up to feed our LDG's. |
| In this photo Tristin is showing us how this works. This cuts back on unwanted mouths in the food. |
Buck Pen 1
We now have the buck pen done! The back and front yard is free to grow again. Here are the pics of the pen.
This pen opens to a pasture for grazing. The boys are very happy to be able to see out. We will be moving and chaging the
shelter a bit but you get the overall idea of how the boys live when not with their girls.
